The other day we were browsing the toothbrush aisle when a VERY nice employee pointed to a top shelf of toothbrush sets leftover from the Christmas holiday sales. Each box contained a battery-operated Colgate toothbrush AND a tube of Colgate kids toothpaste. The very same toothbrushes were selling on the display rack for $5.00 each but because these were packaged as a Christmas promotional they were discounted to only $1.49 each---AND they each came with toothpaste!
I never would have thought to look in the toothpaste aisle for post-holiday clearance deals!
